Komorebi 木漏れ日 - a Japanese word for sunlight filtering through the leaves of trees. Where I grew up, there was a woodland area that I used to call ‘Fairy Home Del’, making this film brought me back to that time and place. This is dedicated to that magic. Thank you to Cal Rush-Williams for this music. He used two Japanese instruments, a Shakuhachi and a Koto. Magic ✨ birdsong recorded in my butterfly hideaway.
✨ Me & the bro have been working hard on this one. Celebrating the last light of the day and all the calming feelings it brings us. I hope this brings you some calm too. I think this one would work perfectly for an intro to your meditation and for calming the mind. 🌇🔮 Totally gorgeous guitar by Cal Rush-Williams.
A relaxing sunset film for you all. All filmed at one sunset on 18.04.20 during the first lockdown. The colours in the clouds made me feel so so peaceful 🍭🌸☁️ Stephen Benson played a mountain dulcimer for this (famously played by our gal Joni Mitchell).
A short documentary exploring the uses of 'Natural Horsemanship' across Europe. In 2017, I travelled across several locations in Europe to learn about alternative horsemanship methods, all within the 'natural' relm. I travelled to Scotland, Germany and France. This film tells the stories of the 3 women who inspired me throughout this journey.
The Green Man's Apprentice
Spencer the Rover, performed by a folk band The Green Man's Apprentice from Penrith, Cumbria. This is a lovely and initimate live performance which I was happy happy to film for this local band. I'm very much involved in the local music scene and I'd love to film some more live sessions for bands and musicians, so please give me a shout if you're interested.
The Racehorse Rescue Centre
A promotional film to showcase the charity work of a local rescue centre for retired racehores. Our main focus was Grace, one of the longest working members of the team! We wanted to show how this rescue not only helps the horse, but also reaches out to children who are going through a difficult time.
